Words simply cannot describe just how much I love these too.  I first met them while shooting another couples engagement session.  To my surprise, they recognized me from my website.  I was so honored that they wanted me to be their wedding photographer, especially because they are also wedding and portrait photographers.  I was totally blown away.

We started off with getting ready shots at the FABULOUS W Hotel in Hoboken.  We took some “first look shots”overlooking the New York City skyline. Once I saw their venue…I would never have believed it was near the city!  Cafe Archetypus was truly one of the coolest wedding venues I have ever seen.  Outside was a gorgeous bamboo garden, while the inside had amazing sculpted walls.  The whole venue had a very eclectic, artistic feel. They chose it because that had their first date there! (totally romantic) Michi and Mao added a mix of handmade and rustic details, including flowers in ball jars, jam favors, chalk board signs,  refreshment decanters, a photo booth, among others.   LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! Oh yeah…and check out their delicious looking wedding cake!

Michi & Mao…I am sooo happy for you both.  I am so excited to have photographed your day…and excited to call you both friends:)  Congratulations!  xoxo, Jess
