Kaitlin & Kevin {Engaged} Paris, France

Travel

In April, I was fortunate enough to go to a workshop in Paris, France and then vacation in Italy.  I am photographing Kaitlin and Kevin’s wedding in the USA this weekend {CONGRATULATIONS!} but currently the couple lives in London.  We rendezvoused in Paris for their engagement session. Tres magnifique!  Since I have photographed in Paris before, we hit some beautiful locations.  We started by the River Siene , with the Eiffel tower as a backdrop.  We made our way down to my favorite bridge, the Pont Alexandre which is also Kaitlin’s favorite!  This bridge is so spectacular, the lights exude Parisian style with their ornate lamps and cherubs.  The weather was chilly, but Paris is truly one of the most gorgeous places.  I can’t wait to go back:)

Photographing in such a busy city like Paris and New York City can be a bit difficult, with all the tourists.  I try to shoot at non peak times, such as evening or early morning if possible.  I think it makes it easier for both the subjects, who might be camera shy, and also the photographer who would prefer less crowded images:)  It is also possible to position subjects in front of the crowd, to look less busy.  And when necessary, wait for a prime spot.

Congratulations Kaitlin & Kevin! Can’t wait to see both this weekend:)

Enjoy!

xoxo
