Families, seniors, extended families, and the moments in between — photographed along the Jersey Shore and throughout New Jersey, in every season that matters.
The kind of beautiful that belongs on your walls, open on your coffee table, in the rooms where your family actually lives — not sitting on a hard drive waiting to be seen.
That's what I'm here to change. I photograph families the way I wish someone had photographed mine — candidly, warmly, in the light that makes everyone look like themselves at their absolute best. Not stiff. Not staged. Real.
Your kids are growing up faster than anyone warned you. These are the photos they're going to lean into someday.
My studio is two blocks from the beach in Ocean Grove — a Victorian shore town where the light is golden and nothing ever feels rushed. I photograph most families along the shore at golden hour, but I also love the gardens, the parks, the lavender fields, and the quiet spots in between that feel entirely like you. Wherever we shoot, I'm looking for the same thing: the laugh that's completely real, the way your kids pile onto you, the look between you and your partner when you think no one's watching. That's the shot. That's always the shot.
I love family sessions on the beach, with soft sand and stunning sunsets. These sessions are perfect for creating relaxed, joyful images.

Before anything else, we talk. I want to know what you're hoping for, what locations feel like you, what your family is actually like when they're just being themselves. I'll send you a style guide so you're not staring at your closet the morning of your session wondering what to wear. By the time we show up, you'll feel ready.
Think vacation mindset. You show up. I take care of everything else. I guide every moment — posing, prompting, redirecting the kids when they've had enough of standing still (because they always do). We'll mix genuine candid moments with beautiful posed portraits. We'll laugh. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, something shifts — you stop worrying about how you look and you just are. That's when the magic happens.
This is the part most photographers skip. I don't. Within a few weeks of your session, we'll sit down together — in person or over Zoom — and I'll walk you through your images and your product options: fine art prints, framed artwork, heirloom albums, and more. You'll never be left wondering what to do with beautiful photos. The whole point is to get them out of a hard drive and onto your walls, where they belong.
What happens if it rains the day of our session?
We reschedule — simple as that. I always keep a backup date in mind whenever there's rain in the forecast, so we're never scrambling. The goal is beautiful light, and I'd rather wait for it than work around it.
My kids are not exactly cooperating types. Will this still work?
I have three kids of my own. I completely understand. Here's the truth: some of the most beautiful images come from the moments when kids are just being kids — running, laughing, climbing on you, completely unaware of the camera. I know how to work with them, when to redirect them, and how to find the shot in the chaos. We almost always get it. And I've got a few tricks up my sleeve — music, silly prompts, well-timed snacks — that help a lot.
Can we include extended family — grandparents, cousins, everyone?
Absolutely, and I love these sessions. Large family sessions just take a little more planning, so bring it up when we connect and we'll think through the best way to structure the time so everyone is included and no one is waiting around too long.
We love the idea of beautiful portraits but we're not sure we can afford it.
I hear this more than you might think — and I want you to know, I offer payment plans. Most families invest between $1000 to $2000 in their full experience, and we can talk through what that looks like before you commit to anything. The conversation costs nothing.
Can you recommend hair and makeup for our session?
Yes — I work with wonderful local professionals and I'll include their information in your style guide. You don't have to figure any of this out on your own.
We're not sure where to shoot. Can you help us decide?
This is one of my favorite conversations to have. I know the Jersey Shore and Monmouth County the way a local knows it — the spots that look stunning at golden hour, the gardens that peak in May, the beach access that's never crowded. Tell me what feels like you and I'll find the right corner of it.
"You captured so many great moments and these pictures will be kept close to our hearts forever. Your work is one of a kind and you have a true and beautiful talent. Every client that you come across should feel very lucky — we certainly did. We teared up looking at these pictures. It was breathtaking."
