This Thanksgivings was one of the best yet. Thinking about it reminds me of the song “Count your blessings” from the movie White Christmas. It is a beautiful reminder of all the things we have to be grateful for…
COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS (Instead of Sheep)
(Irving Berlin)
from the 1954 movie “White Christmas”.
When I’m worried and I can’t sleep
I count my blessings instead of sheep
And I fall asleep counting my blessings
When my bankroll is getting small
I think of when I had none at all
And I fall asleep counting my blessings
I think about a nursery and I picture curly heads
And one by one I count them as they slumber in their beds
If you’re worried and you can’t sleep
Just count your blessings instead of sheep
And you’ll fall asleep counting your blessings
I think about a nursery and I picture curly heads
And one by one I count them as they slumber in their beds
If you’re worried and you can’t sleep
Just count your blessings instead of sheep
And you’ll fall asleep counting your blessings
This year I am so thankful. Here are just some of the things I am thankful for:
I have the most wonderful family and friends. I don’t think I would be the woman I am today without the love and support of these people. Mom, Dad, Jennie, Jenn, Chris, and Tom…you guys rock! Oh and a special shout out to Jenn Y…she is the best pseudo big sister a girl could ask for!
I am so excited that I am going to be an aunt twice this year! My best friend since grammar school Michelle had her beautiful baby girl Ava two weeks ago, and my sister in law Jenn is expecting too! I am beyond thrilled!
I also have the most incredible boyfriend Mike who reminds me everyday how amazing love can be. I don’t know how I got so lucky…
I have the BEST woofers. Spencer and Noah make each day special.
I am so grateful to do what I love. Each day I get to meet and share special moments with my wonderful clients. I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Lastly, I am super grateful for the wonderful adventures I have had this year. I got to meet the most amazing kindred spirits, who also share my love for photography at the Jasmine Star workshop and also the The Boudoir Divas workshop. Being surrounded by these people has been so inspiring, it kind of gives me butterflies!
Thank you for sharing my blessings:) Happy Thanksgiving!!!
