This wedding was one of the most creative weddings I have photographed to date. Robyn and Ernie put so much thought into every element of their day…which really helped me to understand them as a couple. The wedding was very heartfelt and intimate, held at the Ernie’s family farm outside Philadelphia, PA. The couple opted to renovate the barn, and hold the entire wedding there! It was so cool seeing the barn filled with antique treasures, chandeliers, and wine barrels. The barn was transformed into a rustic, vintage lounge.
If that wasn’t enough to impress, they also has a horse drawn carriage for guests to arrive in style. After Robyn and Ernie exchanged vows, the carriage was swapped for a lovely sleigh, the rode them around on the freshly fallen snow. A-MAY-ZING! To photograph the sleigh ride, I was driven alongside the sleigh in the back of a pickup truck! We had a blast, but wow- driving around in the truck was crazy!! I’m so glad we got some awesome images.
The details were so much fun at this wedding. Check out the unique floral arrangements on every table, accented with vintage books. The invitations were also really special, handmade by Robyn, with a hand drawn map of the farm. The barn was decorated with lights, fabric, and furniture to give it a warm and inviting feeling. The favor was honey jars, topped with lace and ribbon, which was from Robyn’s home state of AZ, where the couple met:)
Thank you Robyn & Ernie for allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding day. I wish you both lots of love and happiness:)
