Carla is the visionary behind Oak Hill Farms, a space she built with intention and care before eventually passing it on to new owners. That experience of creating something meaningful carried naturally into her next venture—Rooted Wild, a brand grounded in creativity, connection, and purpose.
This session blended a mother-daughter portrait session with a branding session for Rooted Wild. With Sophia by her side, the images reflect not only the beginning of the brand, but also the connection and story behind it.
Oak Hill Farms is one of my favorite locations to photograph. It’s especially beautiful during the holiday season. As a photographer at Jessica Morrisy Photography, I’ve had the opportunity to create in this space multiple times, and it continues to inspire me with its warmth and natural character. Photographing Carla and Sophia here again made the session even more meaningful.
I designed this mother daughter branding session to capture both personal connection and the identity behind Rooted Wild in a way that feels natural, cohesive, and true to their story.
